Uncovering the Past: A Medical Center Archives Tour

This event has ended

Embark on a 45-minute exclusive historical tour of the second oldest hospital in the country through original artifacts, documents, and photographs on display in the Medical Center Archives of New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medicine! From founding fathers to groundbreaking research, the story of the hospital also tells the story of New York City over the centuries.

The Medical Center Archives collects, organizes, and preserves the records of New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center. The medical center originated from an affiliation agreement between The Society of the New York Hospital (chartered in 1771) and Cornell University Medical College (founded in 1898), and opened its doors in the fall of 1932.
